  The one on Willamette St. has closed and now the house if for sale. Apparently there is a new hostel in the Whitaker.

    Holy shit thats sad.
    
    You know that one in the Whitaker was swiped out of the hands of the Willamette Hostel, right?
    
    Just as they were about to expand and buy another property(in the Whit, a really stiff market)....a manager 'defected' and went into business with someone else at the Whitaker Hostel, with 'Mac' and that old man (the owner), I forget his name but he reminds me of the coach from Rocky.
    
    Anyways, wow, sad.
